Lockout Tagout Annual Audits

A key requirement under OSHA 1910.147 is to conduct a Lockout Tagout re-certification audit on an annual basis. Utilizing our sophisticated tracking technology, we are notified when a client is required to conduct an annual audit. At that time, Steptron Technologies will schedule the audit. Steptron Technologies’ Annual Re-certification Audit includes the following:

• Survey all Process/Facilities equipment for missing and/or damaged placards or tags
• Survey for correctness and identify any new or moved equipment
• Observe and report nonconforming LOTO assessment issues
• On-the-spot re-survey (mark-ups) on color drafts for non-compliant placards
• Submit marked-up color drafts of non-compliant placards in binders
• Update equipment data base with dates and findings
• Submit a firm bid proposal to remedy any non-conforming placards
